The Miracles at Main and Market Street Parade Committee proudly presents the Annual Christmas Celebration in downtown Nappanee! This cherished event always takes place the weekend after Thanksgiving, bringing holiday magic to the heart of our community.

2026 Date:

Saturday, December 5, at 7:00 PM.

Future Dates:

2027: December 4
2028: December 2

Schedule:

6:30 PM - Parade line-up begins at Nappanee Elementary School (755 E. Van Buren St.)
7:00 PM - Parade procession begins
7:30 PM - Parade concludes
7:40 PM - Festivities at the downtown pavilion, including:
- Carol singing
- Reading of the Christmas story by Mayor Jenkins
- Cookies and hot chocolate
- The grande finale: Lighting of the City Christmas tree

Starting at Nappanee Elementary School, South on N. Jackson Street, West on Market Streets, ends at S. Locke Street.

Are there any parking restrictions or recommendations?

Parking is available in designated areas around downtown Nappanee. Please be mindful of any posted signs and restrictions.
Can I bring my friends from out of town?

Absolutely! We encourage everyone, near and far, to join us for this fun and festive event!
Can I hand out flyers or candy during the parade?

Yes, you are welcome to hand out flyers and candy to people in the crowd during the parade.
How can I or my family participate in the parade?

The parade is open to registered entries only. If you would like to be part of the procession, we strongly encourage you to fill out an entry application. Dressing up for the parade is also encouraged to add to the festive spirit!
How long is the parade?

The Miracles at Main & Market Street Parade typically lasts about 30 minutes.
